The Shut-Up-and-Give-it-to-Me-Quick Version:
Good not great.
Filling burritos and lots of salsa options I just don’t know if I care to return.
The I-Like-to-be-Wrapped-Up-in-All-the-Details Version:
I arrived around 11:15 on a Monday and the line was out the door (apparently going early doesn’t make a difference). I stood in line for about ten minutes and waited another 5 minutes for my burrito to be ready. When you order they hand you 2 to-go containers for salsa; their options are great! From mild to super spicy, they offer something for everyone. I opted for the guacamole salsa and the pumpkin salsa.
Mon – Fri 7 am – 3 pm
What I ate:
- Prawn burrito ($12.50)
The burrito was good, but it was nothing amazing. I was really craving the shrimp one and have heard rave reviews so I was expecting something really tasty. Even though there was a lot of flavor, it just didn’t wow me. The guacamole salsa was a bit bland, but the pumpkin one was good (although it slightly changed the flavor of the burrito). I wish the burrito would’ve been lighter… what I mean is that the cooked tomato that accompanied the shrimp changed the flavor and made it a different kind of shrimp burrito. A lighter, lemon based concoction would’ve been really great. All in all, it was good, but personally for the price I rather go to Sushirrito next door because I didn’t find myself oohing and ahhing with every bite as I do at Sushirrito.
