The Shut-Up-and-Give-it-to-Me-Quick Version:

Good not great.
Torn because the tacos were very good, but the meal as a whole wasn’t as memorable as I wanted it to be.

The I-Like-to-be-Wrapped-Up-in-All-the-Details Version:

Breakfast Mon – Fri  8am – 11:30am
Breakfast Sat – Sun 8am – 12:30pm
Lunch Mon – Sun  11am – 5pm

What we ate:

  • Double B-LTA ($12)
  • Fried Egg Tartine ($12)
  • Barbacoa Tacos

My brother ordered the BBLTA; it was good because the bacon and pork belly gave the sandwich flavor, but it was just a sandwich. I can’t even say it was the best or one I would crave in the future.

My mom and I shared the barbacoa tacos (frequent special) and the fried egg tartine. The tacos were definitely my favorite, the slaw that came on the side was delicious, the meat itself was very flavorful and the whole dish was filling without being heavy. I definitely didn’t want to share!

The open faced sandwich was a bit underwhelming. I was really excited about the pesto but it didn’t seem to add much flavor, overall, it was pretty bland. It’s SUPER messy and not really worth the effort. For something on the healthier side it’s okay, but I wish it was more satisfying taste wise.
